PLACKETTS EXPRESS PARCELS LIMITED PENSION SCHEME

The Trustees of the above-mentioned pension arrangement hereby announce that they intend for the Placketts Express Parcels Limited Pension Scheme to be wound up within the next six months and determine the Trust governing the arrangement. Smith & Williamson Trust Corporation (S&WTC) Limited is the appointed Independent Trustee to the Scheme. Beneficiaries of the pension arrangement should have received a letter from S&WTC Limited dated 31 January 2003. Any person who believes that they are entitled to Pension Rights under the above arrangement and who has not received a letter from S&WTC Limited should contact Brian Johnson at the address detailed below within two months after the appearance of this notice. The Independent Trustee will then distribute the assets of the Scheme in accordance with their powers by only having regard to the claims and entitlements of which the Trustees have had notice and they will not, as regards assets distributed, be liable to any person of whose claim or entitlement they shall not have had notice.
