NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that South East Water Plc of 1-3 Church Road, Haywards Heath RH16 3NY is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 28/39/24/113 which authorises the abstraction of water from the underground chalk strata at National Grid Ref SU 8635 4935, SU 8640 4925, SU 8631 4924, SU 8618 4927 and SU 8640 4922 at Boxalls Lane Pumping Station, Boxalls Lane, Aldershot, Hampshire GU11 3QR. The variation being applied for is the addition of one borehole. There will be no increase to authorised quantities as a result of this variation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Boxalls Lane Depot between 6 May 2003 and 6 June 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Thames Region, Kings Meadow House, Kings Meadow Road, Reading, Berkshire RG1 8DQ, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
