THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (NESSCLIFFE BYPASS) (24 HOURS CLEARWAY) ORDER 200

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he intends to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) and 4(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A5 Trunk Road at Nesscliffe in the county of Shropshire. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting at any time (other than in a layby) on a length of the A5 Trunk Road, known as Nesscliffe Bypass, from its roundabout junction with the A5 Holyhead Road at Wolfshead Roundabout to its roundabout junction with the A5 Holyhead Road at Felton Butler Roundabout. A copy of the draft Order, a plan illustrating the proposals and a statement explaining why the Secretary of State proposes to make the Order may be inspected during office hours at Shropshire County Council, Shire Hall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury SY2 6ND; Oswestry Library, Arthur Street, Oswestry, Shropshire SY11 1JN or obtained by application to Karen Eustace at the Highways Agency, Operations Division Secretariat, Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Highways Agency at the address given above.
