NOTICE OF THE STRATEGIC RAIL AUTHORITY’S INTENTION TO APPLY TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT FOR CONFIRMATION OF BYELAWS RELATING TO MERSEYRAIL ELECTRICS 2002 LIMITED

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 219 and Schedule 20 of the Transport Act 2000, that the Strategic Rail Authority has made byelaws relating to Merseyrail Electrics 2002 Limited and intends to apply to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation of these byelaws. A copy of the byelaws in respect of which the application for confirmation is to be made can be inspected, free of charge, for a period of 28 days starting from the date of this notice at: The Strategic Rail Authority, 55 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0EU; Merseytravel, 24 Hatton Garden, Liverpool L3 2AN; and at the following railway stations designated by the Strategic Rail Authority for the purposes of Schedule 20: Bidston, Bootle New Strand, Conway Park, Ellesmere Port, Hamilton Square, Hooton, Hunts Cross, Kirkby, Liverpool Central, Liverpool James Street (Main Entrance), Liverpool Lime Street (Low Level), Liverpool Moorfields (Main Entrance), Ormskirk and Southport; between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. A copy of the byelaws can be obtained, free of charge, by applying to the Strategic Rail Authority, 55 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0EU, telephone 020-7654 6183; or viewed at the website at www.sra.gov.uk. During the 28-day period any person affected by the new byelaws may make representation to the Secretary of State for Transport by writing to him at the Department for Transport, Zone 3/29, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR.
