Notice is hereby given in pursuance of section 19(1) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35(1) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 that by the Stoborough Heath National Nature Reserve No 2 Declaration 2003 made on the 30 June 2003 English Nature declared that the land having a total area of 177.5 hectares or thereabouts situated in the parish of Arne in the county of Dorset and shown edged red on the plan attached to the said Declaration is being held and managed as a nature reserve. Certified copies of the Stoborough Heath National Nature Reserve No 2 Declaration 2003 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset; Purbeck District Council, Westport House, Wareham, Dorset, and at the offices of English Nature at Northminster House, Peterborough and Slepe Farm, Arne, Wareham, Dorset.
