Depute Lord Lieutenant for the County of Argyll and Bute

Inveraray Castle, Inverary, Argyll PA32 8XF. By virtue of the power and authority vested in me under section 3 of the Lieutenancies Act 1997, I, Mr Kenneth Alasdair MacKinnon, RD, WS, Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for the County of Argyll and Bute, do hereby, with Her Majesty’s approbation, constitute, nominate, appoint and grant commission to you, the said Iona, Duchess of Argyll to be a Depute Lord Lieutenant for the County of Argyll and Bute, to act for me during my absence from the area, sickness or other inability to act; and you are hereby required to execute the office of Depute Lord Lieutenant within the said County and in all things to conform yourself to the duties thereof.
