SOUTH DOWNS NATIONAL PARK (DESIGNATION) ORDER 2002

Notice is hereby given that Robert Neil Parry, BA DipTP MRTPI, an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, will open, at the Assembly Hall, Stoke Abbot Road, Worthing, West Sussex, on 10 November 2003, at 2.00 pm, a local inquiry for the purpose of hearing objections and representations that have been submitted relating to the above-mentioned Order. The inquiry will also hear objections to Orders revoking the East Hampshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Sussex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and comments on whether a National Park Authority is appropriate and, if so, how might it best be established and operate. Following the opening day, the inquiry will continue at the Chatsworth Hotel, Steyne, Worthing, West Sussex.
