THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF SURGEONS OF ENGLAND
COUNCIL ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that 26 January 2004, was the last day on which names of candidates
could be received for the Council election which will take place on 1 April 2004.
Voting will close at 12.00 noon, on 30 March 2004. Nominations were forwarded to the
Chief Executive by candidates seeking to fill 8 vacancies occasioned by the retirement
of Professor Sir Peter Morris, Miss Leela Kapila, Professor George Bentley and Professor
Sir Peter Bell. Miss Anne Moore and Mr Bernard Ribeiro are standing for re-election
for a further term of 4 years. Professor Tom Treasure and Mr Michael Bishop are not
seeking re-election for a further term.
