NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club of The Fairway, Lake, Sandown PO36 9PR is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 12/101/1/S/64 which authorises the abstraction of water from Tributary of Scotchells Brook at National Grid Ref SZ 582 841 at Parish of South Wight, Sandown, Isle of Wight. The variation being applied for is to vary the land on which water is authorised to be used as shown on the map. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club, The Fairway, Lake, Sandown PO36 9PR between 13 February and 13 March 2004. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Colvedene Court, Wessex Way, Golden Common, Winchester, Hampshire SO21 1WP before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
