NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK (DESIGNATION) ORDER 2002 MODIFICATIONS
Notice is hereby given of the Minister for Rural Affairs’ intention, on behalf of the Secretary of State, to include additional land within the boundary of the proposed New Forest National Park, modifying the boundary specified in the New Forest National Park (Designation) Order 2002. These additions relate to 0.7 sq km of land situated in the counties of Hampshire and Wiltshire and comprise land in the following districts: District of New Forest and District of Salisbury. A copy of the notice, Schedule of additions and revised map referred to therein has been deposited for 28 days for public inspections, free of charge, from 26 July 2004 to 23 August 2004 at each of the places mentioned below between the hours shown. Salisbury District Council, Planning Office, 61 Wyndham Road, Salisbury SP1 3AH, between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am and 4.00 pm on Friday. Objections and representations should relate only to the area covered by the proposed additions not to any other part of the boundary for, or area of, the proposed National Park. These must be supported by evidence that it is not especially desirable to designate these additional areas for the purposes of a National Park.
