In accordance with the provisions of Part V 1(2) of the above-mentioned Act, it is hereby notified that the following became Members of the Cabinet on 8 September 2004: Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster—The Right Honourable Alan Milburn MP Secretary of State for Work and Pension—The Right Honourable Alan Johnson MP. In accordance with the provisions of Part V 1(2) of the above-mentioned Act, it is hereby notified that the following ceased to be a Member of the Cabinet on 8 September 2004: Secretary of State for Work and Pension—The Right Honourable Andrew Smith MP.
