THE BEXLEY (NEW ELTHAM) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 8) TRAFFIC ORDER 2004

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley, on 20 September 2004, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of, and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Bexley (New Eltham) (Parking Places) (Amendment No 8) Traffic Order 2004, would be to introduce two new parking places in Ermington Road in which resident permit holder will be allowed to park and change the existing free parking place in Ermington Road to a parking place in which resident permit holders will be allowed to park. The parking place will also be modified to provide an additional parking space. 3. Copies of the Order, the Bexley (Abbey Wood) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2000 (and the Orders which have amended that Order); the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, and of a map which indicates the length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, in The Information Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB. 4. Copies of the Order, the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, and of a map which indicates the lengths of roads to which the Orders relate, can be inspected for a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Order, in The Central Library, Reference Library, 1st Floor, Townley Road, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7HJ, during the normal opening times of the Library. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Mr Pathy or Steve Bates, on 020-8303 7777, ext 5904. 6. Copies of the Orders may be purchased from Traffic and Parking Design, 2nd Floor, Wyncham House, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup, Kent DA15 7JH. 7. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the day on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
