TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING GENERAL REGULATIONS 1976, THE EXTINGUISHMENT OF VEHICULAR RIGHTS (COUNTY OF HERTFORDSHIRE) (NO  ) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2004
AMENDMENT TO PEDESTRIAN ORDER

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that, on the application of Dacorum Borough Council, he proposes to make an Order entitled “The Extinguishment of Vehicular Rights (County of Hertfordshire) (No  ) (Amendment) Order 2004”. This Order is supplemental to The Extinguishment of Vehicular Rights (Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead) (County of Hertfordshire) (No 1) Order, made on 19 January 1993, pursuant to section 249 of the Act. This Order if made, will vary and amend the earlier Order by extending the pedestrianisation area and permitting the use of security vehicles on parts of the pedestrianised area at The Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, in Hertfordshire. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected, at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 22 September 2004, in the Planning reception at the offices of Dacorum Borough Council, Civic Centre Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire HP1 1HH, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Government Office for the East of England (Environment Group) (quoting Ref GT/A1910/35/01/17), at the address stated below. Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within the period of 28 days commencing on 22 September 2004, by notice to the Secretary of State, quoting the above reference, at the Government Office for the East of England (Environment Group), Eastbrook, Shaftsbury Road, Cambridge CB2 2DF. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
