NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Buckland House Farms of The Farm Office, Buckland, Buntingford, Hertfordshire SG9 0PY, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 29/38/4/71 which authorises the abstraction of water from underground chalk strata at National Grid Ref TL 3457 3390 at Fivehouse Farm, Buckland, Hertfordshire. The variation being applied for is to add the month of October to the period of abstraction so that spray irrigation may take place between 1 April and 31 October each year. The rates and quantities of abstraction, as well as the provisions to fill a reservoir, remain unchanged. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at The Farm Office, Buckland, Huntingford, between 5 November 2004 and 3 December 2004. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Apollo Court, 2 Bishop Square Business Park, St Albans Road West, Hatfield AL10 9EX, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
