DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE

Parishes of:  Luccombe and Porlock County of:  Somerset Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Hawkcombe Woods National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2004 made on 28 November 2004, English Nature declared that the land having a total area of 98.11 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the Parishes of Luccombe and Porlock in the County of Somerset and shown shaded yellow on the map attached to the said Declaration, is being held by the Exmoor National Park Authority, a body approved by English Nature, and managed as a nature reserve. Certified copies of the Hawkcombe Woods National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2004, have been deposited for public inspection free of charge during normal office hours at the offices of Somerset County Council, West Somerset District Council, Exmoor National Park Authority, and at the offices of English Nature at Roughmoor, Bishops Hull, Taunton and Northminster House, Peterborough.
