DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE

PARISHES OF ST KEVERNE AND GRADE RUAN, COUNTY OF CORNWALL

Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 19(1) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35(1) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, English Nature hereby declare that the land having a total area of 280.81 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the parishes of St Keverne and Grade Ruan in the county of Cornwall and shown single hatched and shaded yellow on the maps has been acquired and is being held by English Nature or is the subject of an agreement entered into with English Nature under the provisions of section 16 of the above-mentioned Act of 1949. English Nature hereby further declare that the said land is being managed as a nature reserve. Certified copies of the Lizard National Nature Reserve No 6 Declaration 2004 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Cornwall County Council, Kerrier District Council and at the offices of English Nature, at Trevint House, Truro and Northminster House, Peterborough.
