ALEXANDRA DRIVE, RAEBURN AVENUE, BARNSBURY CRESCENT AND KING CHARLES CRESCENT

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985: The Kingston upon Thames (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No   /200  ) Traffic Order 200  ; The Kingston upon Thames (Free Parking Places) (Goods Vehicles) (Amendment No  ) (Special Parking Area) Traffic Order 200  ; and The Kingston upon Thames (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No  ) Traffic Order 200  . 2. The general effect of Orders would be to: (a) introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice; (b) introduce single yellow line waiting restrictions (operating between 8.00 am and 9.00 am on Mondays to Saturdays) outside Nos 90 to 106 Alexandra Drive; (c) introduce two disabled persons’ parking places (at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons’ badge may be left without charge or time limit) outside Nos 88 and 108 Alexandra Drive; (d) introduce two goods vehicle loading bays (at which goods vehicles may be left without charge for a maximum period of 30 minutes between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm throughout the week) outside Nos. 84-86 and 108-110 Alexandra Drive. 3. The Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans showing the location and effect of the proposals, are available for inspection until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at: the 2nd Floor Reception Area, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1EU, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; and Surbiton Library, Ewell Road, Surbiton during normal opening hours. 4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Directorate of Environmental Services, telephone number 020 8547 5921. 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Director of Environmental Services (Highways and Transportation), Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT1 1EU, by 7 January 2005.
