DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE

PARISH OF HARTINGTON NETHER QUARTER, COUNTY OF DERBYSHIRE

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Biggin Dale National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2005 mde on 17 March 2005, English Nature declared that the land having a total area of 28,254 hectares or therabouts, situated in the parish of Hartington Nether Quarter in the county of Derbyshire and shown single hatched and shadedyellow on the map attached to the said Declaration, is being held by the National Trust, a body approved by English Nature, and managed as a nature reserve. Certified copies of the Biggin Dale National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2005 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Derbyshire County Council, Derbyshire Dales District Council, the Peak District National Park Authority and at the offices of English Nature at Bakewell and Northminster House, Peterborough.
