THE BEXLEY (SIDCUP WEST) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO ) TRAFFIC ORDER 200
THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO ) TRAFFIC ORDER 200
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose
to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part
IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8
of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Bexley (Sidcup West) (Parking Places) (Amendment No
) Traffic Order 200 , would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup West) (Parking Places)
Traffic Order 2000, so as to:
(a) introduce parking places in Upperton Road, Sidcup in which vehicles displaying
a valid resident’s permit or a valid visitors permit may be left between 1.00 pm and
3.00 pm on Monday to Friday;
(b) introduce parking places in Upperton Road, Sidcup in which vehicles authorised
by the Order may be left between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm on Monday to Fridays; and
(c) include all the properties in Upperton Road and No 8, White Gates and Perry House,
Chislehurst Road in the Sidcup West Controlled Parking Zone.
3. The general effect of the Bexley of (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment
No ) Traffic Order 200 , would be to amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction)
Traffic Order 2002, so that:
(a) “at any time” waiting restrictions are introduced in parts of Upperton Road,
Sidcup; Tyron Way, Sidcup; and Felton Lea, Sidcup; and
(b) Monday to Friday 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm waiting restrictions are introduced in parts
of Upperton Road, Sidcup.
4. Copies of the proposed Orders, the Bexley (Sidcup West) (Parking Places) Traffic
Order 2000; (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Bexley (Waiting and
Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2002 (and the Orders which have amended that Order);
the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and a map which
indicates the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected, during
normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, in the Contact Centre, London
Borough of Bexley, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB.

6. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in
writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to the London Borough of Bexley,
Traffic, Parking and Design Group, Wyncham House, 2nd Floor, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup
DA15 7JH, within the above 21 days of the date of this notice.
7. Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local
Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council would be legally obliged
to make any comment received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
