THE EALING (FOOTPATH LINKING HIGH LANE AND GREENFORD ROAD, LONDON W7) CYCLE TRACK ORDER 2005

1. Notice is hereby given that the above-mentioned Order, made on 31 March 2005, is about to be submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation or to be confirmed by the Council of the London Borough of Ealing as an unopposed Order. 2. The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modification, is to designate the length of footpath specified in the Schedule to this Notice as a cycle track, which shall be a highway maintainable at public expense and over which the public shall have a right of way on pedal cycles (other than pedal cycles which are motor vehicles) and a right of way on foot. 3. The cycle track will be for unsegregated use by pedestrians and cyclists. 4. A copy of the Order and a plan contained within it have been deposited at the offices of Mouchel Parkman, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP and may be inspected free of charge between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays. 5. Any representation or objection with respect to the Order must be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Mouchel Parkman, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP (quoting Ref 641221/ORD 3198/dc) not later than 28 April 2005 and shall state the grounds on which it is made. 6. If no objections or representations are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for confirmation, confirm the Order itself as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for confirmation any representations and objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent to the Secretary of State with the Order. Schedule The footpath designated as an “unsegregated facility” cycle track by this Order is that length of footpath which runs in a general west to east direction which lies between Marnham Field and Brent Valley Golf Course, and which is approximately 480 metres in length. 1 April 2005.
