THE RAYCHEM PENSION AND ASSURANCE SCHEME

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustees are winding-up the above Scheme. Any former employee of Raychem Limited (now known as Tyco Electronics UK Ltd), Raychem Corporation, Raychem HTS Limited, Dorman Smith Switchgear Limited, Rochester Corporation, Stappard & Howes Limited or Tyco Networks (UK) Ltd or anyone who believes that he or she was a Member or Beneficiary of the above Scheme but who is not already receiving his or her benefits from the Scheme (or from the Tyco Electronics UK Pension Plan into which the Scheme’s assets and liabilities were transferred with effect from 1 January 2005 following the previously announced Scheme merger of that date) or has transferred his or her benefits out of the Raychem Scheme or been contacted about the winding-up, or anyone who believes that he or she has any other interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the Scheme which is not already being dealt with within the winding-up should write and provide details of that membership, interest, claim or entitlement to the Trustees of the Raychem Pension and Assurance Scheme c/o Lee Robinson, Watson Wyatt Limited, 21 Tothill Street, Westminster, London SW1H 9LL. All persons making such claims should provide full details of their name, address, date of birth and period of employment, together with copies of all documents which support their claim. Details must be sent within 2 months of the date of publication of this notice or by Friday 14 October 2005 if later. After the expiry of this period the Trustees will wind up the Scheme and will not be liable to any person in respect of any claim, interest or entitlement he or she may have in relation to the Scheme but of which the Trustees have not had notice.
