STOPPING-UP OF A HIGHWAY

Notice is hereby given that Hartlepool Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, on Monday 14 November 2005, at 2.15 pm, for an Order pursuant to section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that those lengths of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto be stopped up on the ground that they are unnecessary. A copy of a plan (drawing number M50-445) showing those parts of the highway to be stopped up may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours at the Legal Division of the Chief Executive’s Department, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool. Schedule Hammerhead off Sedgewick Close, Hartlepool The highway to be stopped up is the hammerhead off Sedgewick Close, Hartlepool which is located approximately 55 metres west of the junction with Arkley Crescent.
