TRANSPORT AND WORKS ACT 1992

The Secretary of State for Transport gives notice, pursuant to section 14(1)(b) of the Transport and Works Act 1992 (“the Act”), that he has determined under section 13(1) of the Act to make with modifications the East Somerset Railway Order (“the Order”).
The Order was applied for by East Somerset Railway Company Limited, Cranmore Railway Station, Cranmore, near Shepton Mallet, Somerset BA4 4QP.
The Order will authorise the transfer of ownership of a 637 metre section of the existing East Somerset Railway line, with adjoining sidings, from BRB (Residuary) Limited to East Somerset Railway Company Limited.
Copies of the Order (once made) may be obtained from the Stationery Office Limited or through booksellers.
