The Queen has been pleased to approve that Mrs Judith Duckworth, JP, DL, be appointed the Vice Lord-Lieutenant for Lancashire, to act as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area, sickness or other inability to act. The appointment takes effect from 3 November 2005. R Miles
