NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Raven Inglewood Ltd, of Swan Court, Waterman’s Business Park, Kingsbury Crescent, Staines, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial No 28/39/22/443 which authorises the abstraction of water from chalk at Inglewood, Templeton Road, Kintbury at National Grid Ref SU 3650 6660, at Templeton Road, Kintbury, near Hungerford, Berkshire. The variation being applied for is to change the licensed purposes from (1) health hydro use to private water supply and (2) spray irrigation under glass to spray irrigation. Also to increase the annual authorised quantities for purpose (1) from 6,995 cubic metres per year to 8,500 cubic metres per year, and for purpose (2) from 643 cubic metres per year to 900 cubic metres per year. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Hungerford Library, 2 Church Street, Hungerford RG17 0JG, between 15 December 2005 and 15 January 2006.
