NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that H & E A Chilton of Atchley Manor, Ryton, Shifnal, Shropshire TF11 9JG, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence Serial No 18/54/5/218/G to abstract water from a borehole in the Triassic Sandstone at National Grid Ref SJ 7634 0631 at Lower Upton Farm, Shifnal, Shropshire. The variation being applied for is to extend the time limit imposed on the licence from 31 March 2006 to 31 March 2014. There are no further changes proposed to the existing abstraction licence conditions. The water is to be used for spray irrigation during the period April to September inclusive. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Atchley Manor, Ryton, Shifnal, between 3 March 2006 and 3 April 2006. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
