INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Augean Treatment Ltd has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the disposal of hazardous waste. The installation is located at Stanier Road, Shire Business Park Wamdon, Worcester WR4 9FE, in the city of Worcester in the county of Worcestershire The application contains the information required by the regulations including a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. This information is held in registers at the following locations: IPPC Public Register, Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shelton, Shrewsbury SY3 8BB; and IPPC Public Register, Worcester City Council, Department of Environmental Health, The Guildhall, High Street, Worcester WR1 2EY. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours (9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday). In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the cost of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice: The Environment Agency, c/o Motion Media Technology Centre, Severn Bridge, Aust, Bristol BS35 4BL. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
