DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE
PARISH OF WAREHAM ST MARTIN, COUNTY OF DORSET

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of section 19 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949, and section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Holton Heath National Nature Reserve No 2 Declaration 2006, made on 21 September 2006, English Nature declared that the land having a total area of 42.89 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the parish of Wareham St Martin, in the county of Dorset, and shown single hatched and shaded yellow on the map attached to the said declaration, is being held by English Nature and managed as a nature reserve. This declaration is additional to the land previously declared, which is shown un-hatched and shaded yellow on the attached map. Certified copies of the Holton Heath National Nature Reserve No 2 Declaration 2006, have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Dorset County Council, Purbeck District Council, and at the offices of English Nature, at Slepe Farm, Arne and Northminster House, Peterborough.
