DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE
PARISHES OF WEST HUNTSPILL, EAST HUNTSPILL, WOOLAVINGTON AND COSSINGTON, COUNTY OF SOMERSET
Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 19 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949, and section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Bridgwater Bay National Nature Reserve No 6 Declaration 2006, made on 29 September 2006, English Nature declared that the land having a total area of 129.22 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the parishes of West Huntspill, East Huntspill, Woolavington and Cossington in the county of Somerset and shown single hatched and shaded yellow on the maps attached to the said Declaration, is being held by English Nature and is the subject of an Agreement entered into with English Nature and is managed as a nature reserve. The Declaration is additional to the land previously declared, which is shown un-hatched and shaded yellow on the maps attached to the said Declaration. Certified copies of the Bridgwater Bay National Nature Reserve No 6 Declaration 2006 have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Somerset County Council, Sedgemoor District Council, and at the offices of English Nature at Roughmoor, Bishops Hull, Taunton, Somerset and Northminster House, Peterborough. 29 September 2006.
