ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

THE ISLINGTON (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (IRONMONGER ROW CRANE OPERATIONS) ORDER 200*

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of The London Borough of Islington, because of crane operations, intends to make an Order to enable works to be carried out on the highway. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicular traffic on Ironmonger Row between its junction with Dingley Street and the boundary between Nos. 19-23 and Nos. 25-31 Ironmonger Row. 3. The alternative route for traffic will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs during the works and shall be for: (a) traffic approaching from Radnor Street via Lizard Street, Bartholomew Square, St. Luke’s Close, Old Street, Central Street, Lever Street and Ironmonger Row; and (b) emergency access to Toffee Park Adventure Playground via Radnor Street only. 4. The Order shall come into force on 14 October 2006 and may be in force until 4 November 2006 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are scheduled for: (a) 14 October 2006 for one day only; (b) 21 October 2006 for one day only; (c) 28 October 2006 for one day only; and (d) 4 November 2006 for one day only. 5.
