PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000

INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Midland Pig Producers Ltd has applied to the Environment Agency for Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permits to operate installations involving the production and rearing of pigs. The installations are located in:

1. The District Council of North Kesteven in the county of Lincolnshire.

2. The Borough Council of Stafford in the county of Staffordshire.

3. The District Council of South Derbyshire in the county of Derbyshire.

4. The District Council of West Lancashire in the county of Lancashire.

5. The District Council of South Oxfordshire in the county of Oxfordshire.

The application contains the information required by the regulations, including a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. This information is held in registers at the following locations:

Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours (9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday). Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice.

Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
