THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL SPEED LIMIT REVIEW (C3 GAWCOTT ROAD, BUCKINGHAM IN AREA 3) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 200

Notice is hereby given that Buckinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to impose a 40 miles per hour speed restriction on that length of C3 Gawcott Road, Buckingham, from a point 35 metres southwest of its junction with A421 for a distance of 325 metres.

This Order provides for the revocation of “The Buckinghamshire County Council Speed Limit Review (Various Roads, Various Parishes in Area 3) (50mph Speed Limit) Order, 2006” insofar as it relates to C3 Gawcott Road, Buckingham, from a point 35 metres south of the junction with A421 for a distance of 325 metres.

A copy of the Order and map showing the length of road referred to, together with the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at County Hall, Aylesbury and during normal opening hours at the following venues:-

• Buckingham Library, Verney Close, Buckingham.

• Aylesbury Study Centre, County Offices, Walton Street.

• Aylesbury Vale Area Office, The Winslow Centre, Park Road, Winslow.

Objections to or support for the proposals together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to the undersigned by 9 July 2007, marked for the attention of Laura Witney, Legal Assistant, Legal and Democratic Services, County Hall, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP20 1UA.

Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
