THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL SPEED LIMIT REVIEW (VARIOUS ROADS, VARIOUS PARISHES IN AREA 3) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 2) ORDER 2007

Notice is hereby given that on 29 August 2007 Buckinghamshire County Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders, which will come into operation on 14 September 2007, will be to impose a 30 miles per hour speed restriction on the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.

This Order provides for the revocation of:

“The Buckinghamshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (No. 10) Order, 1979”

“The Buckinghamshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (No. 11) Order, 1978”

“The Buckinghamshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (No. 10) Order, 1963” insofar as it relates to Green End Road, Granborough.

All comments received were reported to the Cabinet Member for Planning and Transportation, who after careful consideration, has agreed that the Order should be made as advertised.

A copy of the Order and plans showing the lengths of road referred to, together with the Statement of Reasons for making the Order and copies of the Orders to be revoked/varied may be inspected during normal office hours at County Hall, Aylesbury and during normal opening hours at the following libraries: —

* Aylesbury Study Centre, County Hall, Aylesbury

* Steeple Claydon Library, Village Hall, Queen Catherine Road, Steeple Claydon.

* Winslow Library, Park Road, Winslow

* Aylesbury Mobile Library

* Aylesbury Vale Area Office, The Winslow Centre, Park Road, Winslow.

If you wish to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders, you may within six weeks from 29 August 2007 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
