The Q ueen has been pleased to approve that Mr Rodney Swarbrick CBE DL, be appointed the Vice Lord-Lieutenant for Lancashire, to act as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area, sickness or other inability to act.

The appointment takes effect from 4 November 2007.
