STOPPING-UP OF A HIGHWAY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hartlepool Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, on Monday 21st January 2008 at 2.15 p.m. for an Order pursuant to Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that those lengths of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto be stopped-up on the ground that they are unnecessary. A copy of a plan (drawing number M50-567) showing those parts of the highway to be stopped-up may be inspected free-of-charge during normal office hours at the Legal Division of the Chief Executive’s Department, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool.

S C H E D U L E

Footpath between Joicey Court and Lynnfield Road

That section of footpath to be stopped is situated between Joicey Court and Lynnfield Road and is a total length of approximately 5 metres.

The width of the footpath is approximately 2.2 metres.
