Notice is hereby given that Britannia Building Society, Register No 322B, whose principal office is at Britannia House, Cheadle Road, Leek, Staffordshire Moorlands ST13 5RG, desires to transfer its business to The Co-operative Bank p.l.c., and that the Society has applied to the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to confirm the transfer. Any interested party may make written representations to the FSA and/or give notice of intention to make oral representations to the FSA with respect to the application. Written representations or notices of a person’s intention to make oral representations at a hearing should be received by The Financial Services Authority, Britannia Representations, Britannia Team, 12th Floor, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E4 5HS, marked “Britannia Representations” or by e-mail to <britanniarepresentations@fsa.gov.uk> on or before Monday 1 June 2009.
