RE: Land and premises beneath Cowcross Street, Farringdon.

and to all other persons having or claiming or able to sell any estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule to this Notice.

• 1 NETWORK RAIL, INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED (hereinafter called “Network Rail”) HEREBY GIVES YOU NOTICE that under the powers conferred upon it by the above Order and the Acts incorporated with and applied by that Order Network Rail requires to purchase and take the land described in the Schedule hereto and delineated and shown coloured pink on the plan(s) annexed hereto together with all mines and minerals in and under the lands (if any) and which said land Network Rail is authorised to purchase and take by that Order.
• 2 Network Rail hereby gives you notice that it is willing to treat with you for the purchase of your estate and interest (if any) in the said land, and as to the compensation to be made for damage that may be sustained by reason of the execution of works authorised by the Order.
• 3 Network Rail hereby requires particulars of your estate and interest in the said land together with all charges and interests to which the same are subject and of the claims made by you in respect of the land. If you have a greater interest in the land than that of a tenant at will and claim compensation in respect of any unexpired term or interest under any lease or grant thereof Network Rail hereby requires you to produce the lease or grant or the best evidence thereof in your power. In order to assist you in complying with the provisions of the Order and Acts a form of Particulars of Claim in Answer to Notice to Treat is enclosed which should be completed and returned within 21 days from the date of service of this Notice to the Property Manager, Network Rail, Thameslink Programme, James Forbes House, 27 Great Suffolk Street, London SE1 0NS.
• 4 If within 21 days from the service of this notice you do not state the particulars of your claim in respect of the land, or if you and Network Rail shall not agree as to the amount of compensation to be paid by Network Rail for your interest in the land or the interest therein which you have power to sell or for any damage that may be sustained by you by reason of the execution of the works, Network Rail will proceed to require the question of disputed compensation to be settled by reference to the Lands Tribunal.

By virtue of the above mentioned Acts and Order, Network Rail Infrastructure Limited (hereinafter called “Network Rail”) is authorised to purchase compulsorily the land described in the Schedule hereto and delineated and shown coloured pink on the plan(s) annexed hereto and has served Notice to Treat in respect thereof.

NETWORK RAIL HEREBY GIVES YOU NOTICE in pursuance of powers contained in the above Acts and Order, that after 10 March 2010 it is authorised to and will enter on and take possession of the said land.
