NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hartlepool Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, on Monday 19 ^th April 2010 at 2.15 p.m. for an Order pursuant to Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that those lengths of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto be stopped-up on the ground that they are unnecessary. A copy of a plan (drawing number SU2) showing those parts of the highway to be stopped-up may be inspected free-of-charge during normal office hours at the Legal Division of the Chief Executive’s Department, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool.

The section of highway to be stopped up is situated south of Kathleen Street and is 51 metres away from the junction of Kathleen Street/Kendal Road, Hartlepool. The highway to be closed is 93 metres in length and a width of between 7 metres and 15 metres.
