The Queen has been pleased to approve that Viscount Ashbrook JP DL, be appointed the Vice Lord Lieutenant for the County of Cheshire, to act as Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant during his absence from the area due to sickness or other inability to act.

The appointment will take place immediately.
