COAST PROTECTION ACT 1949: SECTION 34

APPLICATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW WEAR CROSSING, SUNDERLAND.

Notice is hereby given that Mr. Ron Odunaiya has applied to the Secretary of State for the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs under Section 34 of the Coast Protection Act 1949 for consent to construct the new Wear crossing, Sunderland, located between NZ369582 and NZ370580 (National Grid Reference).

Plans showing the position of the works may be inspected at the Third Floor Reception Desk, Room 3.4, at Chief Solicitor, Office of the Chief Executive, Civic Centre, Burdon Road, Sunderland

Representations or objections on navigational grounds in respect of the application should be made in writing, giving an address to which correspondence relating to the representation or objection may be sent, to Marine Environment Team, PO Box 1275, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE99 5BN, or alternatively emailed to Susannah.Rutherford@mfa.gsi.gov.uk, within 28 days of the date of this notice, quoting reference DC8893.

The Secretary of State will pass to the applicant a copy of any objection or representation he receives.
