The Queen has been pleased to approve that Lieutenant General Sir John Foley KCB OBE MC DL be appointed Her Majesty’s Vice Lord Lieutenant for Herefordshire to act as Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant during his absence from the area due to sickness or other inability to act.

The appointment will take place immediately.
