CAR CLUB - VARIOUS STREETS

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 15th November 2010 made the following Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, so as to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the Orders set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice:

• The City of Westminster (Car Club Parking Places) (No. 3) Order 2010;

• The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (No. 78) (A Zone) Order 2010;

• The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (No. 79) (B Zone) Order 2010,

• The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (No. 80) (C Zone) Order 2010;

• The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (No. 81) (D Zone) Order 2010;

• The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (No. 82) (E Zone) Order 2010;

• The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (No. 83) (F Zone) Order 2010; and

• The City of Westminster (Parking Places) (No. 84) (G Zone) Order 2010

  • 2 The general effect of the Orders is to designate areas of the highway as parking places for car club vehicles. A brief description of each location is set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
  • 3 The Orders, which will come into force on 22nd November 2010, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until the 27th December 2010 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at One Stop Shop, City Hall, 62 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP.
  • 4 Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
