LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

GAINSBOROUGH – VARIOUS FOOTPATHS (CYCLE TRACKS) ORDER 2011

On 30 March 2011 Lincolnshire County Council confirmed the above named Order.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to convert to shared cycle track / footpath the following lengths of footpath:

  • 1 That length of Public Footpath No.1 that runs from its junction with Bowling Green Road generally northwards along the east bank of the River Trent to its junction with Floss Mill Lane.
  • 2 That length of Footpath that runs from Corringham Road southwards to Highfield Close.
  • 3 That length of footpath that runs from Station Approach eastwards to the existing Cycle Track at Pingle Hill.

A copy of the Order and the map contained in it may be inspected, free of charge, at the address given below and the offices of the West Lindsey District Council, Marshalls Yard, Gainsborough during normal office hours.

The Order became operative on 31 March 2011 but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers contained in the Cycle Tracks Act 1984, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order he may within 6 weeks from 7 April 2011 make application to the High Court.
