The Queen has been pleased to approve that Mr Andrew Marr DL be appointed the Vice Lord-Lieutenant for East Riding of Yorkshire to act as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area due to sickness or other inability to act.

The appointment will take place immediately.
