THE TRANSPORT AND WORKS (APPLICATIONS AND OBJECTIONS PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND AND WALES) RULES 2006 — RULE 14(1)

THE LONDON CABLE CAR ORDER

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN ORDER

Docklands Light Railway Limited (“DLRL”) of PO Box 154, Castor Lane, Poplar, London E14 0DX, a subsidiary of Transport for London (“TfL”), is applying to the Secretary of State for Transport under section 6 of the Transport and Works Act 1992 for the above-mentioned Order to be made under sections 1, 2 and 5 of that Act.

The proposed Order, if made, would supplement the statutory powers that TfL and DLRL have to operate the London Cable Car between the Greenwich peninsula and the Royal Victoria Dock, currently under construction, and ensure that the Cable Car system integrates effectively and consistently with the rest of TfL’s public transport network.

As the proposed Order does not include authorisation for any works, the application is not to be made subject to an environmental impact assessment.

Any objections to, or other representations about the proposals in the application for the proposed Order should be sent to the Secretary of State for Transport, Department for Transport, c/o TWA Orders Unit, Zone 1/04, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR (email: transportandworksact@dft.gsi.gov.uk) on or before Thursday, 3 November 2011.

An objection or other representation MUST (i) be received by the Secretary of State on or before Thursday, 3 November 2011, (ii) be made in writing (whether sent by post or email), (iii) state the grounds of the objection or other representation, (iv) indicate who is making the objection or other representation, and (v) give an address to which correspondence relating to the objection or other representation may be sent. (If you are sending your objection or other representation by e-mail, please provide a postal address).

The Secretary of State may make complete copies of any objections or other representations public, including any personal information in them, and will copy them to DLRL as the applicant for the Order.

All requests for further information, or respecting notices or other documents relating to the application, should be addressed to the undersigned.
