PROPOSED NETWORK RAIL (PONT BRIWET) (LAND ACQUISITION) ORDER

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN ORDER

Network Rail Infrastructure Limited of Kings Place, 90 York Way, London N1 9AG, is applying to Welsh Ministers under section 6 of the Transport and Works Act 1992, for an order under section 1 of that Act authorising the compulsory acquisition of land and rights in land, the extinguishment of rights over land (including rights of common) and the temporary use of land in connection with the reconstruction of the bridge and its approaches carrying the railway across the Afon Dwyryd at Penrhyndeudraeth, Gwynedd.

The application is not to be made subject to an environmental impact assessment.

Any objections to, or other representations about, the proposals in the application should be sent to the Welsh Ministers, Planning Decisions, Welsh Government, Cathays Park 2, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ, email planning.division@wales.gsi.gov.uk.

An objection or representation MUST (i) be received by the Welsh Ministers on or before 11 November 2011, (ii) be made in writing (whether sent by post or email), (iii) state the grounds of the objection or other representation, (iv) indicate who is making the objection or representation, and (v) give an address to which correspondence relating to the objection or representation may be sent. (If you are sending your objection or other representation by e-mail, please provide a postal address and state "Pont Briwet TWA Order" in the subject of the email.)

Welsh Ministers may make complete copies of the objections and other representations public, including any personal information in them, and will copy them to the applicant for the Order.
