Notice is hereby given in pursuance of section 19(1) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and Section 35(1)(a) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 that by the Aberbargoed Grasslands/Glaswelltiroedd Aberbargoed National Nature Reserve No. 1 Declaration 2012 made on the 14 June 2012 the Countryside Council for Wales declared that the land contained 42.28 ha (104.47 acres) or thereabouts situated in the Community of Bargoed in the County Borough of Caerphilly and shown edged red on the plan attached to the said Declaration is the subject of an Agreement entered into with the Council under the provisions of Section 16 of the 1949 Act and that the land is being managed as a National Nature Reserve.

A certified copy of the said Declaration with plan attached has been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, at the Office of Caerphilly County Borough Council, Pontllanfraith House, Pontllanfraith, Blackwood NP12 2YH from Monday to Friday inclusive during normal office hours.

Certified copies may also be inspected at the offices of the Countryside Council for Wales at Maes-y-Ffynnon, Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 2DN and at River House, St Mellons Business Park, Fortran Road, St Mellons, Cardiff CF3 0EY from Monday to Friday inclusive during normal office hours.
