This notice is addressed to former and current employees of the companies listed above.
The Scheme is currently in an assessment period for the Pension Protection Fund. Following the assessment period, it is envisaged the members (including any pensioners) of the Scheme will transfer to the Pension Protection Fund. If the Trustees are not aware of any entitlement for you under the Scheme before 25 November 2010 they may not be able to include any benefits for you in the transfer to the Pension Protection Fund and the Pension Protection Fund may not be liable to pay compensation to you.
Therefore if you were or are an employee of one of the above companies, and a member of the Scheme and think you are still entitled to benefits under the Scheme but have not been contacted by the Trustees of the Scheme since 25 November 2010, or you are a widow, widower, child or dependant of such an employee, please contact the Trustees of the Scheme c/o Chris Flanagan, at Mercer Limited, 1 Whitehall Quay, Whitehall Road, Leeds LS1 4HR.
You should include your full name, address, date of birth, National Insurance Number, date of entry into membership of the Scheme, details of where and by whom you were employed and details of any benefits you think you are entitled to and write no later than two months from the date of the publication of this advertisement. If you are a widow, widower, child or dependant of a former employee then please indicate this on any correspondence and include the requested information in respect of the former employee also.
If you already receive a pension from the Scheme, or you have received announcements regarding the Pension Protection Fund assessment period, you do not need to write to the Trustees as they already have full details of your entitlements.
Issued on behalf of the Trustees of the Dyson Group Pension Fund.
