Land at the above location has been declared surplus to TfL’s requirements and is to be sold. The Crichel Down Rules, as set out in ODPM Circular 6-2004, under certain circumstances require land compulsorily acquired to be offered back to the former owner or their successor in title at current market value.
However, in this instance the land is not to be offered back because exemptions apply. TfL therefore wish to trace anyone who may fall within the definition of former owner or successor in title contained in the Crichel Down Rules in order to notify them of the decision.
Former owners or their successor in title (other than through purchase) are invited to contact TfL by writing within one month of the date of this notice to:—
Jonathan Cornelius, Business Manager, Corporate Finance, Transport for London, 5th floor, 84 Eccleston Square, Victoria, London, SW1V 1PX
