The Queen has been pleased by Royal Warrants bearing date 4 June 2013 to appoint Mark Joseph Carney Esquire to the Office of Governor of the Bank of England in accordance with the Bank of England Act 1998 (as amended by the Financial Services Act 2012) for a period of eight years commencing on and from 1 July 2013 until and concluding on 30 June 2021 AND to re-appoint Charles Richard Bean Esquire to the Office of Deputy Governor (Monetary Policy) of the Bank of England in accordance with the Bank of England Act 1998 (as amended by the Financial Services Act 2012) for a further period of five years commencing on and from 1 July 2013 until and concluding on 30 June 2018.
